Pershing Confirmed layoff

I was told that the layoffs will start on the 10th in India. US will start on the 12th through 14th. From what I see so far, most people on the list asked for a package or are getting it for cause. There are still many that will lose their... — read more

I was recently given severance and in the terms it says that I have no right to apply for or work at BNY or any other of its releasee, unless otherwise waived. Does anyone know what defines “releasee”? The definition isn’t given in the document. — read more

Chainsaw’s Legacy

Remember when Charlie left overnight and most of his cronies/tag alongs from his last place left with him? There is one hanger on who is retiring all of a sudden. Seems as though rats jump ship before the ship crashes into an ice burg

For people who care so much about in office time

I have a question for those who support increasing in-office hours, and even criticizing the others: Do you own the company or hold a significant amount of stock? Why are you so concerned with what is good for the company? And why are you criticizing... — read more

US coworkers axed

So why are they separating our US employees from one office to rehire in another? Brilliant. Will they be doing that in the UK also?

HOURLY IN OFFICE TRACKING

Heard rumors that BNY is going to start tracking how many hours employees are in office. In order for an in office day to count the employee must be in office for at least 6 hours. How true is this?

Back to the old ways

All you have to do is google “BNY lawsuit” to find the endless number of articles about the shady, incompetent, or down right illegal and corrupt practices that this place engaged in for many years. What’s really sad is that we were turning the tide... — read more

Any news on the scope of massive June Layoffs? Build Back Better!

Asset Servicing

What in the world is going on in asset servicing? These silos were the stupidest idea and now there’s talk about getting rid of them?

We have MDs in India???

I've been seeing lots of high up positions in India. Will Robin and the EC give up their jobs for their India counterparts? Ridiculous!! Why is no one talking about this?

I lost my job today and I don't get paid back on my PTO.

PTO, you only get back PTO you bought, not the hours you accure, if you see the writing on the wall, go use it all, otherwise you will lose it. Doesn't matter how much you have, you only get the "flex vacation" you had the option to buy.

Accrued PTO not paid out?

Is accrued PTO not paid out upon departure anymore? But PTO that had been used but not accrued is subject to repayment? Seems like the worst of both worlds on the employee end. Would be better off switching to unlimited PTO at this rate.

HRA Accounts

How much money was BNYMellon able to absorb back from displace personnel with the HRA accounts. The amount has to be pretty substantial.
