I too was wondering why Rocha was picked among his many qualified peers. This was also interesting giving that he was leading the division that includes the tainted Respironics products. Then I realized that he was Dutch - white and male.

Starting Thursday 02/06 and continued into the week of 02/10 Layoffs began at the Boston Branch and supposedly in Eindhoven. Supposedly bonuses were retracted that were promised two weeks ago.

Do you know there is a plan to grow headcount, how many employees currently work here? How about the HQ at Amsterdam?

Lumileds does have layoffs. They were owned by Philips but now we were sold to a private equity group and there are layoffs

Is this still a trend and will things ever return from India. It's a very dangerous game, jobs move overseas never to be returned.
