Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Wholesale/ MVNO

Does any one work in this team - wholesale/ MVNO? I am hearing about crazy things going down there since last RIF. Looks like that business is nose diving and the new leadership is completely clueless and apparently their morale is rock bottom. I always thought that was a quiet business living in its own corner and constantly delivering. Sad to hear if this is true.

@11r there is definitely a lot that could have been avoided. I think previous leadership had a few years to plan ahead for the impending downward trend, many of them admittedly were not even their making. Yeah, but definitely the org was not run professionally. But feel right now it is from frying pan to fire. A completely absent leader who does not even know or care about his team but is more interested in company paid golfing events, his leadership team who doesn’t seem to have a clue on what is happening in the business, and are more interested in turf wars, things are loomking pretty hot

Yaters gonna Yate! Yates kept pushing the YNOW BS which amounted to jack. What customers would actually sign up for Roccstar or Smartless?? It's called being brainless and pi----g away money on it.

Leadership and BD never pivoted when they should have thinking Wholesale would be flush with cash forever with ACP, Dish, Trac, Consumer. The writings been on the wall for ages, and they focused on block chain??! What's the ROI on all the fun trips they take to things like F1?

We now have to come in 4 days a week, even though morale is down, they're just punching us in the gut. Leadership never addresses our concerns in the survey's and just dances around any issues we want addressed just like the recent results. In fact all the leaders have made their way up the chain because of being buddy buddy and not having real skills like Emil and Becca.

We'll see how it turns out with all the overall corporate changes happening.

Why is it sad? This is what happens in a company that is failing.

MVNO overall is a struggle. It is not like consumers who want wireless in this country is growing and on top of that the MNOs keep buying out MVNOs. I have seen this team trying new things over the last year to go to B2B etc. But have never seen such a defeatist attitude from them people in this team though. They used to be and still continue to be great team to work with, but I have definitely seen a downward trend in their overall outlook. How much of that is RIF or new leadership or combination of both, don’t know.

Tell us about the "crazy things going down there." I bet you won't...because you're clueless. The new leadership has been operating other businesses within T-Mobile successfully for years, and will do the same with Wholesale. Nose diving? LOL...this post is ignorant AF and sounds like it's coming from a disgruntled employee from Wholesale that was riffed!
