“When People Show You Who They Are, Believe Them”. Same goes for companies. They’ve been showing you that they don’t value you or your contributions to the business and you should believe them! They’re not kidding.
You have skills, whether it’s in sales, engineering, analytics, or other. Use those skills to shift to an industry that is more stable and that acts like it values you.
@a9 One of my bosses at Verizon always bragged about how honest he was and would constantly refer to himself as a “truth-teller”. He turned out to be one of the most dishonest, unethical people I ever worked for.

The more a company like Verizon talks about teamwork and values and how much they care for their employees, the more they are not being honest about all those things. Companies that truly care don’t need to constantly tout how much they care for their employees. They just how it with their actions
