The people running this place don't know what they're doing. They just play games and waste time. It's obvious and it's hurting everything.

The real question is will Lyons be allowed to replace current C Suite people with his own choices are will he have to wait until BillyBob is completely gone in order to bring in his regime? Every day this is delayed is time lost in turning this franchise around. The faster he brings in his own people the faster the clowns at the EVP etc. level are shoved out. In addition will people from PNC follow him here? They obviously have been successful over there.
I think it’s funny how many posts we see from Tech mad about Wells Fargo hires. They have a functioning app, we don’t.
Maybe we shouldn’t have built the worst tech stack in the industry and legacy leaders could have stayed.
Nothing screams this louder than having a chief audit officer that was never in audit.
@bg Most that have left have been systematically pushed out. In CTO all the senior leaders are former Wells Fargo and they are pushing out other leaders to make room for their friends. You are correct that a lot of knowledge is leaving and I suspect that it will start having a pretty negative impact soon. I expect more operational stability issues due to lack of knowledge and the reckless approach by our new leaders.
A lot of knowledge left. What is left over are su-k ups that are biting off more than they can chew.
Yeah, it's really bad. Arrogance + mediocrity + lack of skills/education are the requirements to be a Truist leader. Make them feel superior in their ignorance and you get promoted. I hope this new guy comes in with open eyes and sees who needs to be terminated.
Cool story thanks for sharing.
