Did anyone else notice this when filling out the culture survey they sent out - clicking on any answers on any questions acted normally UNTIL you got to the question of "do you plan to quit in the next six months" - every time you picked an answer or changed your answer a buffer icon would load something and then disappear. The whole team was doing the survey and reproduced it, including our manager (so four of us) Also obviously the survey link is personalised. I think theyre essentially looking at who's sure to leave anyway to make sure they don't lay them off as it'd be a waste of money if theyre quitting themselves anyway and instead layoff people who are still willing to stay and there isnt another easier way to get rid of them.

@1b8 I'm guessing you are the same person that commented on the other post about the surveys. What gives you a way is between this post and the other one, you still haven't figured out how to spell Marty's name.

@v9 its not you can see the network traffic being sent if you open dev tools on the browser.
Could also be buffering if it loads up new questions based on the answer. Not defending it just thinking why it might do that.

What normal company asks in a survey "do you plan to quit in 6 months?" I've NEVER seen that before.

@cg , Ain't that the truth. If they only tackle the root cause and grow the company and sack the ELT/Board leeches, there will be no low morale, as there would be no reasons to be desperate and looking over your shoulders.
They also keep track of Teams conversations (typed, recorded and the calls you think are not recorded.)
I will never forget when a VP told my team to report any negative comments made by OpenText employees, including water cooler talk. The justification was the company could not allow low morale. Instead of addressing the problems, the solution is/was to silence the ones who bring up the problems.
This place is messed up.
Just to let you know guys. Last year, on a similar survey, few people lost job soon after its end date. Those who skipped or put negative comments are the ones gone on that phase of flushing. Its confidential, but not anonymous as claimed, as each generated unique tag is mapped to an email.
You mean a personalized URL for a survey won't be used to track what you answered? Shocking! I'm not sure what the point is: either you're going to lie and say everything is peachy, be honest and point out flaws and some grievances, and then have a target on your back, or you've drunk the Kool-Aid that you think everything is good.
At the end of it, they'll cherry-pick the results to show everyone is happy, get rid of the less-than-happy people, saying they were dead weight anyway in their shameless spin to make it look like OT is the best
They are NOT anonymous. Its only confidential. You better believe they know who answered what!
And I noticed the buffering as well on that question. Even if you are looking to leave, be smart and dont say that specifically on the survey please. Maybe you will get laid off and get severance.
I think someone with power is on this website. There were some comments not too long ago, asking why don't they just ask people to volunteer to be laid off, and now we get this survey.. Looks like they are reading these comments on here.

So assume your identity is known and answer accordingly. If you want to be laid off and get a package then the smart answer is to say you have no plans to quit. Basically, if everyone only gives sunshine and rainbow answers, their survey will be useless.
