Doing more less well

I DO make more mistakes now than I used to, which are due to the fact that the requirements for doing my job have increased: a) in complexity, and b) in sheer volume due to loss of staff members in my group that were not replaced. Let me also state that owing to the above, I do not CARE that I am making more mistakes. About three years ago when there was a meeting of all teams under the umbrella ruled by our Chiefs on the org chart about 4 slots above us all, the message imparted to by this person was that with regards to our positions we would all now be required to "Do more, for less" (that's a verbatim quote). Well, I decided to make a slight adjustment to that mantra, and I have decided I am perfectly content with "Doing more...Less well." I'm actually looking forward to whenever I have a future one-on-one with my supervisor and am told that my work is Below Expectations so I have a chance to respond that I don't consider them to below mine.

Perfectly said, @6lmx+1a64DwHy.

We have our mantra from higher up. You have to worker smarter and harder.
For some years now. 🤔

Not surprisingly, this is typical of the morale at BNYM due to the culture of "do more for less". Some folks partake in that for years and when they just need a few more years of income before retirement, they throw them out like the trash. Horrible company culture. Horrible.
