Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Is there any other reason than GREED?

All my former colleagues who have left here say they are earning much more now. I only know one person who now has a lower pay, but that person has both an easier and less stressful job now.

I wonder if there is any reason, other than greed, why WFM can’t give more to the employees on whom this company depends?

No better time to leave the company than now there is no reward in staying for a few hundred dollars while you overwork yourself they get laid off next year.

Keeping you struggling means you will keep coming back if you are comfortable and happy you are harder to use and abuse. If you could get by doing less than 40 hours most people would do that but since most people can't they will work more. I hope WFM continues to struggle to get employees the people that currently work her just need stop caring and just do the basic functions of the job and collect a pay check.

heres the truth bud

these types of jobs are like quick sand. the longer you stay the harder itll be to leave because you will be:

  1. older with no valuable skills learned for anything outside this industry
  2. because of #1 you will be salary locked in and will have no choice to leave

if youre not retired or a part time student or STL then its a waste of time
