Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

RTO Spin

So, if they easily lie about how many employees are just so dang eager to get back to the office, what stops them from lying about the results from this survey? They’re doing it in waves so they can put a stop to it when they realize 80% of associates are voting for WFH (so they don’t have to admit it so much of the workforce disagrees).

And what gives them the impression that we want to get back to face to face cupcake social gatherings, or justify this garbage with “getting back to volunteer events” (it was just as easy to volunteer when WFH… do they actually think we’re doing team volunteer events when majority of our peers don’t even work in our office and we have to connect with them on WebEx just like we do when we work from home?!?! Geeze, it’s just laughable that they think we’re stupid and that we’re buying their BS.

And if they brag about raising minimum pay to $25 when giving tenured associates measly 2% raise is working in their favor and they are sadly mistaken because they just close the gap between what we have achieved vs a recent high school graduate who can’t get the job done as efficiently as those with experience.

The survey has already been buried by other "news" on flagscape. You have to scroll pretty far down to find it. Meanwhile, the return to office declaration which came out prior to the survey is still a top article. I guess they're hoping people will forget to fill it out.

I filled in the questionnaire honestly, pro WFH. Don't care if they know who filled it out. Those questions so biased for RTO is ridiculous.

Does anyone really believe that a questionnaire from HR is confidential?

I only looked at the first question and it’s a very leading question.

They don’t want you happy.

The good news is, job market is hot, lots of remote jobs out there.

Unfortunately most of you will have to do some interviewing to get to that desired job that allows WFH. They will never let you WFH at BoA, so the longer you stay and complain, the less likely you are to score a true WFH position since so many people want that option and the competition is heating up. The longer you wait, the less positions will be available. I know several people who are leaving for a full remote WFH job.

Don’t let fear of change stop you from getting what you want.

At this rate, by 2025 $25 an hour will be like making $12 an hour..

Don’t take their survey. Don’t eat their cupcakes. Seriously, why would you accept trinkets and snacks from these jackasses?
