Ryan noted 20-25% but that's an average arcoss the company. IT layoffs will be a much are higher %. If you are in certain groups then you've already seen the contracts being lined up for contractors to replace entire groups and even orgs IT.

The only question is how much will happen in November or how many will be asked to stay longer to train their replacements. Remember the CEP team is now working through 2026.

@144 I'm @11x. You didn't provide any information I didn't already know. Bville may not meet the requirements for a notice to be filed. But that also means 80% staff reduction isn't happening.

@10h it does if you think that we likely won’t hit the international assets as hard as L48. It has to average to 20-25%, not be equal across all areas.

@b6 PSA: this is an anonymous site so no surprise, some speculative chatter is to be expected. But looking at past practices, IT cuts comment seems like a good an educated guess as any. On flip side, if IT voluntary attrition is running high then that may impact forced force reduction numbers.

@OP the reality is that this is a cost cutting move and IT wages are relatively high and the work, remote-friendly. Can’t offsite an operator currently. Though it’s going to hit pretty much every business unit.

@b6 Take everything RL says with a grain of salt. Layoffs started yesterday for those manager positions that don't have a spot on the box and wire org charts. Witnessed at least one packing up office today. It's not EOI or change in employer.

You are just sharing rumors and your fears Mr or Mrs IT person.
The truth is the cuts could be higher, or they could be lower.
Nothing has been finalized or decided yet. According to Ryan, all proposed plans from all the BU's and Functions like IT still have to be reviewed by the ELT.
