Why move BG analytics to CODA?

Just heard they're moving the BG analyst teams to CODA.

Anyone know what the plan is?

Pendulum swings back and forth. Give it another 5-7 years and it’ll be back in the businesses.

@em
There was a hold put on from LPC when the CODA was initially launched. There was a lot of push back from BG to roll thru but VP for DTO was currently running two divisions (DTO and LPC), and they felt it was excessive. This is probably due to questions of nepotism/ethics earlier last year in Q2 or Q3 as well.

Wasn’t this the plan about five years ago? What changed? Why now?

@a7 I wouldn't call it a good fit.

Centralized analytics can't possibly provide the focused information the BGs are asking for.

This is another short-sighted penny-wise but pound-finish nice we've come to expect from "leadership."

Center of Data Analytics?

I don't remember what it stands for, but it's basically the analyst CoE.

Not a terrible fit, but isn't a good sign that they're consolidating all these functions away from the BGs.
