Hearing a rumor that there will be layoffs and notifications beginning the first week of May. Any truth?

Yes, apparently entire teams have been made redundant this month to replace them with teams based in India.
Any rumblings? Last year was a big layoff at the end of June.
Any ideas which region and department??
Already happening started last week
Earnings call is on apr 29th so i would think any wide spread layoff announcment would come then.
may is usually when adp does layoffs, they have done layoffs every year usually its 100-400 people from around the company, or a light touch. The question is, will it be a light touch or a heavy slog. Im hearing team managers are really worried, also india is making big moves into taking over team roles. If your department has a few india employees good chance a cut is coming your way.
