They keep telling me we are not hiring.

Because they got rid of in-job promos…people switching roles to move up the lader…
Seems like a lot of jobs posted location is Findlay/San Antonio, interesting….
Vacancies for positions previously people who saw the writing on the wall and left. Good employees always have options, MPC is no longer an A tier employer.
They post positions then hire from within regularly. Seen a dozen front line people move up to management in the last 2 years. Never backfill those frontline positions at a rate that keeps up.
MPC/MPLX is too top heavy.
27 Directors under one MPLX Engineering VP. Give me a break!
Look at our midstream competitors job postings and you’ll see they are mostly field related.

They’re bleeding salaried employees at our site. The postings are real there at least.
