So there has been employees hired less than a year ago, how do they size up to those who have been here a lot longer? Based on certain comments here seems like there is quite a bit of individuals who didn’t get the VSP. So I’m like what does that mean for them?

I’m safe and I have well over a decade under my belt. I am leaving and im not taking the VSP on my way out.
Best of luck.
I heard that one department and one org didn’t get them, the rest of us did.
I anticipate they are being retained until they are no longer needed.
Not getting the VSP just means you don’t get enhanced severance. No one is safe.
Nobody is “safe” in any job, ever. Conditions change. Priorities change. Leaders change. Safety is a perception, never a reality.
