How long before we open the inevitable offshore “service center” to replace all the offices we just shut down with cheap foreign labor? I give it 18 months tops.

The general public has no clue how much medical billing, coding, and claims processing have been sent overseas.

@OP Our plan is to replace offshore and onshore with AI. Just ask the Corporate Strategy leadership.
Sorry, but I get call transfers from them all day long, and unless the training improves exponentially it will never happen. All they do is follow a script - if you ask them anything else you can hear them go mute.
Offshoring used to be something HCSC would NEVER do. Then they started moving bits and pieces off shore and now it’s just so common that clients have to specifically request to not have ANY area off shore and we charge them more for it.
So yes/ I would anticipate more areas moving to India and the Phillipines
