Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

T lost that innovator feeling

Remember when T as a company was an innovator of new technologies. What was T's last successful innovation? They lost that culture and were duped into spending 100's of billions in mergers and takeovers only to have to sell them for pennies on the dollar. How did the once top innovator in the world miss the AI innovation?

@aa Thanks to horrible AT&T Leadership, I have invented the “8 and Skate”. It has been widely adopted throughout the company and is very successful. Your welcome!

SBC blockheads don’t know innovation, only punishment and beatings until morale improves. This is one of the worst places to work in the world, and it’s making me hate my life.

Innovating was easy when you had a monopoly and the government told you how much money you could make and how much you needed to spend listening to the stars, or pigeons. Those days ended in the 80s. The question is why could we not adapt.

@a4

We were the first to come up with the iPhone.

What?
You mean Apple, Steve Jobs, and Co - Created the iPhone and AT&T signed a limited time exclusivity deal with Apple to be the only carrier to offer the iPhone.

AT&T didn’t “come up” with the iPhone, we had no hand in it’s inception, development, or creation.
