My manager just put an invite on my cal for tomorrow at 9am sharp. Subject says "quick connect". I asked what this was in reference to and did not get a response. Let the games begin. US based, been here for 7 years.

Spent 15 years at Heartland/Global. I think every year or after every acquisition, this is the year I make it on the list, well I made the list today. I'm very shocked and sad to have to leave, I had planned on retiring there. I had my hands on so many things there through the years. I considered my colleagues as friends/family, will always. Pray for me that I get on somewhere else in a timely manner :)

@a7 I am a vertical got my notice and benefit explanations at 10am Monday. It is definitely real and hitting mid-level leadership (Director and Vp) hard in some areas.

@ac I saw someone else posted about 70%-ish of their team being reduced. So it might be a lot larger than we’re aware of. And they’re just attempting to keep it under wraps
It’s odd - there was this rumor of huge layoffs, but there’s been nothing communicated and nothing from other colleagues around the company. I guess the brunt is tomorrow? Who knows
