It’s gonna get worse before it gets better. Ambetter is exiting the NH plan and now this with Arkansas.

We were never able to maintain profitability in Arkansas. This makes logical business sense.
Not entirely surprised. Arkansas has a really weird model. I bet centene is tired of all that effort for a small one-off operation. Plus, everyone is losing money bigtime on Medicaid Expansion population, so their financials are probably terrible.
I'm sad for the Arkansas employees. Hoping they get good severance and support. :/
