@e9 same here LWP. 19 years service and roughly 15 minutes it was done.
I was also affected yesterday around 12 PM. HGP employee almost 12 yrs. Same as what everyone said above. Don't have to work from today.
Same I was called into a meeting on my day off /birthday and told the same thing@dg
Similar experience here. Heritage WorldPay employee. Manager scheduled meeting on Monday morning. HR person from hGP suddenly appeared on call. Manager read from script then turned it over to HR person. HR person explained severance and told me I was eligible for rehire. I was told a box would be sent to me for my laptop. I was told to log off and that was it. 12 minutes over and done.
Legacy GP Canada pf 12 years here. Got my Teams meeting invite at 8:40am for a 9:00am meeting.
Boss read a script written by corporate lawyers saying my position has been eliminated. Whole thing took no more than 10 minutes
Monday to Wednesday. Make it to Thursday and you’re probably safe for now.
