If ISIS opened up an oil field Oxy would be first to bid and offer to develop it. They are the best at turning a blind eye to anythnig.

By most all measures, his reign was moderate - arguably progressive - vis a vis Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar and much of the Arab/Muslim world.
If the headlines and news reports are to be believed - and that's a big if - the posture of Oman has definitely changed.
Perhaps Oman just wants a piece of the Strait of Hormuz action: If Iran is going to gain economically, then so are we.
I don't think Oxy Oman is "at risk" just yet.
