@17f Interesting - lots of talk about the need to be "flexible" in staff meetings, the importance to be open to an enhanced care delivery, etc. Last time I heard this my schedule changed, I became hourly worked evenings and Saturdays. They act like no one has a memory
Lots of talk the past couple of weeks about big changes in national business. Wonder what that means

Leadership seems to hate nothing more than institutional knowledge.
@zy sadly they will either a) overload the people who are left who are likely already overworked or b) hire someone younger and cheaper with no experience or someone’s H1B buddy; they will have no experience or subject matter knowledge and it will still overload the pure saps who are left or c) ship it off shore where the are also clueless and it will come back to the poor saps or d) they have lied to senior management that AI efficiencies have taken over the work - it will get sc--wed up and left for the poor saps to cleanup. In summary, if you have subject matter knowledge and a work ethic at Elevance you get increasingly sc--wed. If you lie that things are working and RIF people or move stuff offshore you are rewarded. But there will be a tipping point where they lose enough fixer knowledge and the duct taped data solutions stop working.

I know of three people rif’ed. One was so hard working and held so much knowledge of how things ran. Position eliminated, unclear who will now take up the role. It’s so sad. However, stock price going up before earnings on 7/15.
