Short term disability and risk of layoff
I have a necessary surgery that needs me to be on 6 to 8 weeks short term disability leave. Would that put me at risk for layoff after I return from medical leave?

Has anyone had any dealings with the senior head of HR? My understanding is he is the one pushing RIFS, and a reason behind this increasingly toxic place. He wants RIFS everywhere but has the most toxic people leading HR teams.

Does anyone else endure bad behavior by H-1Bs in the office? My office is chock full of them and they routinely speak at volumes that are more suitable for an NFL game. They also stare at me way too long and it makes me uncomfortable.
