No matter how successful and value creative bpx advertises itself to be the new bp will take exception and possibly even divest the assets as it has been done in the past. Expect Hainsville to rename unscathed…gas matters.

@xs perfectly said and GB has left BPX alone as it’s not his forte…that’s co-ktails in Baku and top models brought in by modeling agencies…
Some part of BPX must be divested and simplified or sold entirely out to Chevron or Exxon
OP nailed it. BPX “value” had always been a vaporware smoke screen of “trust me bro” and “don’t look behind the curtain”.
Watched one of their finance lackeys try to tell MO bpx is so great which is why they need to have duplicate systems, processes, and manage their own cashflow reinvestment into capex. MO mural held up her hand to cut the person off mid sentence.
The golden fortress of Bernard’s bimbo ba----g buddy is crumbling. BP saves $0 by having multiple Microsoft enterprises, multiple investment policies, multiple remuneration plans, multiple technical and support orgs, wasteful extra office buildings, etc. The risk profile is different, fine have different tech specs, no bad reason to duplicate literally every other part of a company.
Sure pal. Whatever you say.
lol value creative.
Guess you meant “value accretive”
