When can we expect layoffs and what functions will be impacted?

@1b9 Same sentiment here! I had much higher expectations for a Fortune 50 company.
I hope they offer a voluntary option. Been here a little less than a year and by far the worst company that I have worked for (25 year career, spanning 5 companies). So much time wasted on creating PowerPoints and attending meetings...no real work gets done. S&T is full of dead wood that just collect a paycheck and X consultants (Accenture, EY, Deloitte, etc...) that just love to talk a good game. Leadership needs to take a hard look at S&T and clean house. Very disappointed in PepsiCo as a company.
They have lots more U.S. brown people to eliminate! No need to fill those quotas any longer!!! Way to go PepsiCo - Racist leadership all day every day

@105 I think the same. Upper mgmt is getting the financial rewards as they drive this company into a fast downward spiral.
Outsourcing companies, short-staying contractors, unqualified Pep employees promoted to positions that is way above their knowledge and skill level, all in the name of DEI.
I’m hearing that October is the next layoff phase and there’s a lot of jobs will be sent to Mexico to a place. They call the habitat shipping jobs overseas is now the new normal for PepsiCo this is going to be fatal for the company because there is no coming back. this will cause a downward spiral unless new management is put in place to prevent this and they have known this for a long time. They are milking the company from the top to stock options and through high salaries while the people at the bottom are just their slave. They don’t even see their name. It’s just an employee number which they call the GPID. There are a bunch of secret meetings happening behind the closed doors that no one knows about and that a lot of people are not privy to. I have heard a lot of rumors. Pepsi will dismantle itself in order to prevent bankruptcy slowly selling off each brand each division.
You can expect them anytime and everyone is impacted.
do yourself a favor and leave on your own like I did. 22 years at Frito, they told me my payroll job was going away in 2020, I was told I would get a package. They held thst carrot over ly head. I was offered a job in May set to start i. July. I waited to give my notice and gave them 2 weeks. They were shocked that I was leaving, I was just a number. No good bye feom anyone, nothing. The only thing I was told is there were not back filling my position because they will get rid of the 15 left doing the job once they have payroll where they want it. I have been gone 2 weeks and the best part is I have slept great, not waking up due to pay issues. Such a relief to be done
Larger scale Layoff cadence is basically twice per year - no function is immune.
