Got laid off today
HR guy got upset at my comment. I said “today it’s my job, within a year it’s probably yours”
I had good memories, but clearly this company is going bankrupt again pretty soon. You can’t outsource every job to India and expect good results

@eg my Senior MSM on the west is great and is always onsite! I don’t think they make that much. I was actually told I make more with my sales.

What positions are all the layoffs?
How about the senior market vas managers that mostly work from home? Why do we pay these overpaid secretaries?
If a director can’t do his own job, then he doesn’t deserve the position to begin with.
Let’s pay over $1M per year for this useless senior positions because “we like them.”

Laid off today as well. Soooooo glad this nightmare is over!!! The fleet guy was also laid off. Supervisor said this is a company wide thing. The HR rep had never seen but said my role is no longer needed. Asked her why they hired me in the first place? No response. They wreck your life in 5 minutes without explanations. Oh well…
Got laid off today as well. Told my boss and HR “sorry for your loss” and thank them for releasing me back to freedom. This was my 4th corporate gig in 32 years. Never thought I would see Hertz collapse this bad. Way worse than 2020!
