The building is designed to be easily retrofitted for leased space. Like many of other failed companies Enron, Worldcom, Sears
There will be an announcement of the cancellation before year end. Notice you haven’t heard anything about it in months… we are hemorrhaging capital with no additional revenue. This company is not positioned to build a new fancy HQ that nobody actually wants or needs. This will not attract anyone. Only flexibility is attractive in 2026. Sorry!

Who cares? Nobody wants or needs a new HQ. Offices are obsolete in 2026 so it’s a total waste of money. This is just ego st-----g for Stinky on his way out. He views this as his greatest (and only) success. Essentially building himself a monument. The plans will be scrapped and the build cancelled within a year.
The new Plano office will never open. We simply cannot afford to build a new HQ with the current state of the business. Would be totally foolish. We are not flushed with free cash but instead saddled with massive debt.
I drove by it on Parkwood a few week ago, they were starting to dig up the street outside the campus for some reason and they accidently cut open a gas main....oops !

The Plano move is happening, it's top priority and represents a new beginning for the new at&t., sadly it also comes with a reduction in Dallas staff headcount
