Sampath’s success in losing market share to T-Mobile, rolling out the industry leading project 624 that changed the game for customer service, and the thousands of layoffs that have occurred because of the failure is an inspiring tale for all Americans. He leaves a highly skilled and admired leadership team he developed at Verizon as well. I’m thankful for his next steps where he will do great and I am excited for the legacy we will continue to build on. Let’s go team!

Nice to see slumdog landed on his feet. A real Bollywood ending.

@OP These third party fiber companies don’t last long. They either go bankrupt or get bought by another third party fiber company. That then goes bankrupt too

Is this just Verizon setting the stage to buy zayo outright since their CEO and CFO are all former execs

Former VZ Finance guy, Jeff Noto, is Zayo's CFO

Zayo is great company and far more nimble to get fiber delivered where it matters than Verizon.

I come to realize many CEOs/cSuite fail
up! Best of luck... but reality he was not successful at Vz and was smartest in the d-mbest row.

Zayos entire c suite has changed 3 or 4 times the last three years so best of luck I guess. I think the CEO was the only one who hadn’t left

@a6 - You pay $100k to an Executive Placement firm to help you find a new position.

No surprise... they all land. No track record to speak of.
