Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Anybody relocating to Charlotte?

Looks like it’s the new CSO hub.

When and why did Charlotte become a hub? RTP has more tech companies and talent.

I could park my car outside the house of every person in the CSO organization and be on their private wifi and into their devices in an hour. There are no actual security people in the organization. All they know is security bureaucracy. How to quadruple document every password change and make the SLAs remove all liability for breaches away from AT&T and onto the Indian subcontractors.

The “carve out” to accommodate Rich Baich’s personal fiefdom needs to be drummed up the chain. TALK, TALK, AND TALK until management takes note of this! Why the favorable terms to him while other orgs get forced to relo to Dallas? Sincerely - a Consumer employee

the new CSO hub.

Lets be honest about this. It's simply the place where all of Baich's direct reports used to live after he got rid of all the people who knew about network security in favor of people who know only about banking firewall logs.

It's yet another "move to a hub unless we can accomidate you to move to where you used to live" exception. Do as we say, not as we do for the common people. They have to move somewhere they don't want to move or be terminated.

Charlotte? You kidding? All jobs are headed to the Bangalore metroplex. That’s in India for all of you still thinking you’ll be US based. Stink LOVES curry.
