This company is the worst ever. They have no clue what they are doing. SMBC is for sale, probably sold already. Just let us go already. I'm not giving in though; they are going to pay me severance. Treating people like sh!t is going to work, and they aren't going to voluntarily leave.

@de Mark did it to make us too large to be purchased by IBM. Look at the microfocus stock in the 5yrs before we bought them - tells the story of what got absorbed into OTEX.

OT isn't the worst I've worked for. But it's in the top 5 for sure.
That said, I like the people I work with so I can gut it out until I get a package. Unless, of course, something far better falls in my lap.
Its so sad because I genuinely used to love working there, yes it had its challenges but now seems like its all gone wrong !

More seriously, OpenText is by far the worst company I have encountered after almost 40 years in the industry. It is awful on all levels. It's comically bad.
Luckily, I am able to retire and leave this mess. I am sorry for those that cannot.
No, treating people like sh-t won't work. They have sold it, not sure what the delay is. I know the auditors have gone silent regarding SMBC, even at year end audit. That's your first clue. OpenText is a joke and the whole company will have a new owner a year from now.
