@e3 we can only trust Arvind to do the wrong thing by IBM employees.

He's the worst CEO in IBM history (yeah, even worse than Ginni who at least had a positive idea or two - Arvind is nothing but a butcher who dehumanizes his own workforce. What a horrible human being").

AK concealed the fact that rest 98% of the software has extreme bugs to be deployed successfully in production and will be replaced by working software from other vendors.

IBM CEO: "that only 2% of IBM’s software could be replaced by applications built by artificial intelligence models"
This is BS
Most greenfield workloads are now built on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and standard Linux platforms—not IBM Z, AIX or IBM i. Mainframe demand can remain strong during upgrade cycles, but much of its durability comes from existing applications, accumulated data and migration complexity rather than widespread adoption by new customers.
That migration barrier is weakening. Toyota says mainframe systems support approximately 90% of its North American supply-chain operations. Using Amazon Q Developer, it analyzed 400 COBOL programs containing 375,000 lines of code in five hours, generating documentation with reported accuracy of up to 90%. This does not mean Toyota has already eliminated its mainframe, but it demonstrates how AI can reduce the cost and time required to understand legacy systems—the first step toward leaving them.

@OP Maybe when his career at IBM is over, he will move to New Orleans and become a PI-P. He has all the qualities to become an unforgettable one.
LOL.

We’ve all seen this movie before. India Business Machines will lay off thousands of good U.S. workers. The stocks price will bump up. Arvind will praise himself.

Arvind that little scamp can’t keep claims straight. One week it’s one thing next week the polar opposite. He is incorrigible
