They should have an option to withdrawal from the VSP if your separation date is longer than 90 days out.

They should have in fine print something about no being eligible to be fired without just cause! You know all of us with the pushed out dates will be under a microscope now and our PL will be looking for ANYTHING to fire us.

They had us believing the separation date would be September 6, or around that timeframe. If I had known I would be expected to stay another year, I would have made very different decisions.
I work in nurse case management with a date of 12/11 as well.
I also got 12/11 date can we set up a work group for all of us!! I don't know if my nerves can handle staying this long...

My separation date is 12/11 as well. As long as management doesn't try to fire me before that date or when I find a new job, it's not that bad.
At least you can be “checked out” these next few months.

In some way I'd like that as it would ease the 2026 tax liability.
