Could anyone provide information on the current severance pay policy in the UK? In the past, it was typical for employees to receive a severance package of two weeks' pay for each year of service with the company. It used to be 3 weeks per year of service. Won't be surprised if they cut to one week per year.
It is what it is - a _rumor_ .. No one knows until they receive the letter. So why worry about something that you _cannot control_
