DON'T CHECK YOUR MAIL!!!

The voluntary package is like a golden parachute, complete with fluffy bonuses and gentle landings. As for the involuntary package, well, let’s just say it’s more of a bungee jump—without the bungee. We keep the details vague to maintain that... — read more

Pay increase 2025

How much pay increase is planned for next year? How will all these bad news impact our RSU grant? I think we deserve to be paid more for job well done.

Eligible Retirees

It su-ks knowing that some of your eligible retiring colleagues who work hard and have a wealth of knowledge are being targeted to leave when you literally have younger lazy non contributing slacking others who will still be here after all is said... — read more

Surprise begets surprise

The trouble with Pat and Dave saying “whoopsie doodle things are actually much worse than we let on last quarter” is that there’s still plenty of downside left for them to do that AGAIN at the end of Q3

Age will be a major factor

Watch as Intel does its best to get rid of everybody 50 and over while attempting to hide there's age discrimination taking place.

Any thoughts on how many will accept VSP?

I'm assuming the more accept, the fewer involuntary layoffs there'll be. I'm low-key hoping enough folks are unhappy here and are looking for a way out to minimize the need for laying off the rest of us. That would be a win/win situation, at least in... — read more

So Monday should be fun

Monday is going to be a hoot. After being glue to this site over the weekend I am a bit nervous about coming in. Is anyone else nervous?Opened my eyes to a lot and pulled back the curtain on the type of people I thought were my colleagues.

Voluntary vs Involuntary package differences?

Based on historical data, would anyone know if the involuntary layoff package would be substantially worse than the voluntary separation package? Circuit+ does not mention any numbers for involuntary layoffs AFAICT. Thanks for any insight.
