Too much dead weight?

I don't blame the people who are overpaid considering they have very little to do, but the people who so thoughtlessly employed so much dead weight. Intel has a lot of it.

I hate all the secrecy

To this day we don't know if all the layoffs that were announced months ago have been completed. We don't know what's coming next and we have no idea if any of us are safe at this point. How does Intel management expect us to be able to concentrate... — read more

Going through the motions

Stuck in the rut

I'm still in grade 5 with 4 years of experience as H/W engineer here. How do I convince my manager for a promotion ?

This is the fault of a few bad apples

The problem is with the slackers who pretend they can WFH effectively but are constantly calling people on site to do their work for them. I know this is a minority of people, but these are the folks who are responsible for the RTO push. The... — read more

Any company always has top 5-10% performers at each grade, folks in the middle 80% and bottom 10%. I likely fall in the middle 80% bucket for last year. Just got promo the year before and so despite the good effort last year was not expecting to be... — read more
