Making empty promises does not really help

I don't trust the leadership at all anymore, they have lost all credibility as far as I'm concerned. Perhaps they are trying to rekindle optimism, but I am getting tired of their empty promises. What are they actually doing well for the benefit of... — read more

Pat & ELT - the Carnivorous

It is really stunning to see the all hands meeting yesterday and how blunt and cold they looked like talking about Christmas, great things coming, becoming process lead in no time and so on and so on and so on!!!!! These guys, all seemed to be... — read more

Empowering employees to innovate

I feel stuck here. All my friends and colleagues who left here say that it was a good decision because their talent was just being wasted in this company. What happened to the culture that empowered employees to innovate?

Spinning the failures

It is impossible to have high hopes in a company with an arrogant leadership that never admits its mistakes and doesn't learn from previous failures. It wouldn't surprise me if they actually thought they are doing good things while Intel is... — read more

More tech layoffs

Cisco just laid off 4k employees. What the he-l is going on here? I understand some layoffs might be needed because some companies did over-employ in the past, but I can't wrap my head around so many tech layoffs in such a short time period... — read more

Maybe it's too late now

Although Intel is going from failure to failure, I know that the leadership is not interested in our opinion that many things need to be changed in this company. On the other hand, I am no longer sure whether it is even possible to stop the... — read more

Perhaps the point is to constantly keep us in fear

I do not agree with those who think that the fear of cuts increases productivity. Moreover, I think the opposite is happening. However, it seems that the goal of our leadership is exactly that - to constantly keep us in fear of being a target?

Why Intel failed and as noted past the rescue point

Can’t claim credit but well put. At a high level, it was Intel’s dominance. Because of the monopoly status it had acquired through the real and historic leaders in the company (Moore, Grove...) , the subsequent 'leadership' pipeline did not... — read more

Greener grass is a thing of the past

Don't be so excited at the prospect of being laid off or leaving. I know Intel is far from ideal but at this point in time, there is no such thing as "greener grass." The tech sector is in disarray. Everybody is laying off and some are outright... — read more

Any news for Oregon?

Been wondering if there's been layoffs in Oregon these past couple of weeks. I work for MSO and it's been quiet so far, leaders trying to cut expenses all over the place and accepting volunteers to go.

Leadership is "great" at one thing

Intel has managed quite successfully to keep layoffs out of the media eye. Small layoffs that last for an extended period of time are happening under the radar. Despite that, I don't believe that the company's reputation has ever been this bad.
