My manager said they bill about $150k per employee for budgeting. This translates to about $3B/150k = approx 20,000 jobs. There arent 20k people in SMG. Maybe 5-8k in SMG. So there will be cuts across all groups. This looks bad.

Has anyone heard rumors specifically which BU’s will targeted most for these layoffs? Or is the plan to just skim some off the top of each one?

I am a new hire (January ‘22) so this is my first go-around. Realistically, what are my chances of getting the axe?

I have a feeling the all company will be full of fluff with no concrete information though the actual layoffs may be deep and brutal. They might downplay the layoffs and focus on ego boosting delusions of IDM2.0
