No confirmation from Intel?

All reporting in MSM regurgitate Bloomberg lead. Has there been any comment from Intel that this is going to happen? I guess not denying it could be taken as confirmation. Shame. Tough times.

The big transformation

Unfortunately, every time we hear about the necessary transformation of the company, we get a less and less efficient company. Remaining employees are increasingly dissatisfied and less productive. Why transformations fail?

Sites hit most and least

Among all the sites in US and offshore, which sites would be the most and least impacted. I am guessing low cost centers like Bangalore may be least impacted.

How to determine your chance of getting laid off

Stop with that chip shortage bs

If only intel was more honest about the need for fed bailout. It was the need for leading edge process and not the fake chip shortage.

Just a little more until the financial results

I'm not expecting anything good because I am not satisfied with what the company has done to address its existing issues. Any predictions on what the quarterly results might look like?

Will it be shock and awe! I am surprised Intel can’t be transparent and honest like AMD, but again with Pat why is that a surprise, says it all doesn’t it!

Intel SG&A Spending Cuts

Got confirmation that the CFO Dave Z is instructing for 25% budget cuts across all SG&A spends, so there will be cuts to headcount. Any other orgs getting cuts?

What disappointed you the most?

Intel is nowhere near the company I thought it was when I applied for the job here. For me, this company is a disappointment in every sense of the word.

Immigration

How is intel providing immigration for roles like project manager / product owner, SW development, etc. I thought it had to be a skill lacking in the United States? Why has this not been reported to Immigration and Customs?

The Big One

Anybody else notice that all the executives seem to have disappeared into their holes? Intel hired 30,000 people and then everyone disappears. How long before they fire 30,000 people? My guess is right after the quiet period.

Why did you decide on quiet quitting?

I can't even remember what exactly was my breaking point when I decided on quiet quitting, but it's clear that my manager is not thrilled now.
