Intel modem madness

All in all Intel has 9 discrete cellular modem architectures. 1 2G, 2 3G, 4 4G and 2 5G. Such is level of incompetence in the mobile division. After spending a decade and 10's of billions of dollars they are still to make a single cent in profit in... — read more

1500 jobs at risk in AV

The echoes of S7acy

Did you guys ever hear St4cy Sm1th’s talk where he said 1) Intel has about 5 years to turn things around (that was in 2014), and 2) let’s not be BlackBerry. I’d love to take him out for a beer right now and see what he thinks.

300+ VPs ?

BoD.. Please wakeup and try to justify why 300 VPs and their Chief's of Staff are needed... Really? Like WtF?

There's Hope for BK

Oracle snapped up Mark Hurd after this came to light: "And what the letter suggests is that Mark Hurd used HP money and resources to arrange and pay for a series of dates and hotel-room encounters around the world with a woman he had an intimate... — read more

The visceral response to BK’s departure

For the last few days I kept asking myself why I kept checking this site daily, and why I kept reading about BK’s firing. After 20+ years at Intel, I took VSP in 2016. The reason I took VSP was because of the unfairness of ACT. Employees I’d coached... — read more

BK departure won't bring us back

Time to let go. This a--holes karma will come by itself. In some cases prosecution for SJW's was so hard that even a candy left on a partner's cube was harassment. We can see this is how politics and movies are headed to. But the case is we won't... — read more

Even when ousted, BK continues to bring Intel down

Now analysts are downgrading Intel due to lack of leadership. This means BK is managing to continue to screw us over even when he is finally out of the company. Gotta give man props for that. It looks like it's gonna takes us longer than I originally... — read more

The Strife of Brian - Article

An article which echoes the thoughts of many on this board: https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/06/23/brian_krzanich_intel/

The Future will be painful for many

Once the dust settles, the company needs to be right-sized. This could be as high as 33% reductions. Look around your office or campus and ask who is working on a project that matters. There are many initiatives and programs that need be purged. BS... — read more

There is something else...

SS was pushed out by BK AB didn't like that AB laid a trap with the help of his cronies Trapped BK and pushed him out. I think some major financial irregularity either by BK's gang or AB's gang is behind all this.

What a karma

If the money is the only thing that matters, BK is still better off than most of us. If honor or dignity counts, he suffers more than any of those who got laid off while he was CEO. Remember that those whom let go were escorted out of building... — read more

is CEO really necessary?

In the end CEO just a slave puppet for the BoD, HR, Finance. High pay of course. Does he really set strategy? What is the tangible impact of a CEO? Cant 2 or 3 existing VPs share this role?

Petition to bring BK back.

I will post a url of a petition to bring back BK as CEO of Intel. Stock is up 122% under his tenure and they won't find a better CEO to replace him because no one wants the job. Spread the word so I can present it to the BoD.
