Employee numbers in the earnings pdf file

Look at page 7 of the earnings pdf from intc.com. It shows the following employee numbers for Intel: 115K as of 9/28/24 and 116.5 as of 6/29/24. That is only a reduction of 1500. WTF, is this is an error what else is wrong in the report.
