WiFi reimbursement in California

My working model is hybrid, and for the days I work from home, HR previously stated they would continue reimbursing expenses according to cost-cutting articles. However, now my manager and SLM are refusing approval, saying they won’t cover it. It’s... — read more

Lets grade Pat based on his direct report hires

Literally every single person he hired has been a DISASTER. Zinsner - Bankrupted the company by saying YES to every crazy Pat idea Lavender - Utterly incompetent, zero outcome from 19,000 S/W engineers in 3 years. April - DEI hire lawyer... — read more

Boss says everyone is safe, but it doesn't add up

My boss said layoffs are over and we werne't affected, but I think they are just trying to keep people working overtime for free. So they say over half of the 15000 job cuts have been completed through VSP, so adding a generous 8000 VSP to the... — read more

Ok all the talent is gone now…. What remains?

Anyone with any ounce of ambition has left. What is remaining…. probably just sitting ducks. No one wants to look at an Intel resume resume now. They’ve seen way too many!!

Can trolls just enjoy your Saturday

Stop with your ridiculous post on packages that may or may not come. Yes, there will be more layoffs, it's a given. Will there be more packages and to what value, no one knows. So please, either go back to the dark basement and relax or go touch... — read more

Average employee here

Like most of us are. My resume is not spectacular, I have no advanced knowledge in some currently sought after field. My skills and capabilities are however quite decent. I’m afraid that’s not enough anymore, especially in this tech job market and... — read more

Rule of 75, can trigger anytime

I'm based in Europe, I missed the rule of 75 this time, only by a year or so. Once I hit this threshold can I request a retirement package, or do I have to wait for a CPM etc

Dear BoD

Please listen to the employees. Please fire the CEO. He is lying to you about 18A. He has lost all credibility with employees and wall street. Every single decision he has made has been a disaster. Every ELT member he has hired has been a failure... — read more

Intel Announces 50 layoffs in Allentown

Intel Corp plans to layoff 50 workers at its facility in Allentown. The technology company issued a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification for its location at 1110 American Parkway . Morning Call oct 18, 2024.

Extra payout for people who retired before ERP.

If you retired between Jan 1 and Aug 5 of this year, check your bank account for a rather large payment from Intel. I won't say number in case it can be traced back. Also don't forget that you also get prorated APB next year.

A.I. is a marketing problem.

Marketing data is in. Turns out people avoid buying devices that have the term A.I. on them. Pat is now using the term "intelligent compute" lol

I Hope This Opens Up Your Eyes

I hope all of this. All the stuff that went down these last few weeks is a big eye-opener to how Intel really is. We are not an honorable company and right now we’re not even a good company. We are almost comically the bad guys. All the lying to its... — read more

Reason to keep ISP employees until Nov 15th?

Can someone explain reason why we lay someone off and ask them to stay on job for 30 days. I don't think I have ever witnessed this before... I understand if you voluntarily choose to separate you pick a future date...

Intel lying to investors again?

It does not appear to me that Intel laid off nearly close to 15,000 employees but yet that was told to the investors I’m not sure how they get away with this bullsh-t. Intel needs to get rid of these people they’re over bloated.
