Xeon 6 with P-cores and Gaudi 3 AI accelerators

Good luck selling that. Here's the deal: Pat saying "We have the goal of offering a lower overall total cost of ownership." is a long fu--ing way from pricing our slower products less than the competition.

No way Intel will be sold!!

Such an iconic company with some of amazing technologies in advanced packaging (EMIB, Foveros). I don’t think Intel will be acquired by any other company. They still have much left to contribute to world technology.

No way but out for Pat

The board will soon have no option but to fire Pat. People are so distracted by the daily news and gossip that they are losing sight of the next shoe to drop - earnings call on October 24. If Intel misses or even meets the already lowered guidance... — read more

Now I want to stay

Just to see how this drama will unfold. Nobody’s really productive. Who would take this company seriously anyway? I’m doing the bare minimum needed not to be fired in order to stay. I don’t expect anybody at the top to suffer any consequences for the... — read more

No deal

Sorry to disappoint but there is no deal. But the bump in stock price presents a good selling opportunity. It is all going to be nose dive from here.

Let Qualcomm acquire us

Maybe they can do something with this place. They certainly can't do worse than Pat and his cohort. The more I think about this, the more it sounds like a great idea.

Qualcomm is the whale!

They are TSMCs top 5 customer. Pat wants to save the fabs…Qualcomm seems interested in only M&A scenario. It’s the only way to save the fabs….

You deserve better

I spent three years at Intel under a manager with zero leadership skills, having to deal with unrealistic goals and toxic team dynamics. It wore me down physically, mentally, and emotionally. I finally left last spring, and I haven't looked back... — read more

As expected, no real information in Ann's TD townhall

Gave a number for the ISP target, but we all had sussed that already. No information about program reprioritization, what comes after ISP, what does it really mean for IF to be independent. Nothing. Business as per fu--ing usual, keep your head... — read more

Intel Cannot Split Until IFS is Close to Breakeven

Let's be honest... Intel is not going to be sold or have IFS spun off until IFS has real non-Intel Products revenue (2027). If IFS was spun off today, it would be closed down 18 months from now because there's not enough customer & revenues to... — read more

Taking bets on what Ann says tomorrow morning

$10 says she repeats what Pat said in his email after spending 20min talking about Safety First and some meaningless OKRs. I will be flabbergasted if she actually mentions concrete numbers for ISP, project cutbacks or reprioritizing.
