I've been applying for two months and haven't heard back from anyone. Is this normal now? Things have really changed.

@b2 Get the job qualifications and job description then get your CV. Use Ai with prompting to tailor write your CV for each job application. You cant just submit same CV everywhere. The ATS CV scanners are looking for keywords. Pre screen questionnaire are also asked during initial CV submission. Your answer to this/ these matters. They can Auto form a condition just like an SQL query. If you answer incorrectly…. you maybe auto rejected.
6 months had some interviews but hey 1 job over 200 applicants also applied. the list of qualification is like a job for 1 engineer working for in 2 to 5 departments.?%{@&!!!! Ah and dont forget the ATS CV scanners… what a delight. You have been ghosted if you dont get reply after 1 or 2 interviews for same job position.
You're not getting a job unless you can code the AI solutions and want to live in Hyderabad (which means a constant case of the runs).
Job market is terrible out there, especially if older, your fxxcked
@b7 FU-K EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM
If you aren't h1b don't bother...
Thank people like Srini, Mike Sievert, Jon Freier, Jeff Simon, and Mike Katz for that. They sold out your country (or are not even from here to begin with).
Not hearing back from anyone.:. And it’s been 6 months. Literally zero interviews in 6 months. Didn’t realize just how bad t-mobile would look on the resume
It is really that bad. I'm in my 50s; everyone i know who has become unemployed in the last two years is still unemployed today. It's so sad.
I'll follow up on your application if you apply for the VISA card.
