Not sure where else to ask this, so will do it here. Curious what RTO looks like for different groups across T-Mo. I have a feeling it is not being applied consistently across different organizations. If you reply, please state days per week you are required to be in the office and what organization you are in.

@1ae You can bet that will change with IT moving under See Saw.
My org is 3 days per week but for bonus purposes, number of days in office is a factor. Someone going in 5 days per week and doing a sh-t job would get the same as someone doing a great job and going in 3.

I've been hearing this rumor in my org as well. Our leadership insists that they were keeping the hybrid model of 3 days since that worked for most. And that all this RTO talk was just rumor...
Then again I don't believe a word out of her lying mouth. 5 day RTO coming soon.
my mole at HQ tells me Jan 1, 2027 is the target for 5 day RTO for everyone. Yes, even you mo fo.

I will be shocked if corporate-wide mandatory 5 days in the office isn't coming soon. Execs know they have us all running scared. It would be a very easy litmus test across all organizations. People who refuse to comply could be terminated for cause, and the company wouldn't have to pay any severance. Headcount reductions, without the messy layoff expense. Win win for them.
@xt or kindergarten with coffee instead of milk a nap. Treat people like children and expect them to act accordingly.
My manager (Dung) is basically a coffee taker at the Senior Manager level 😂. We still go into the office 3 days a week just to say "hi" in the morning, "bye" in the afternoon, and sit through meetings where there's literally nothing on his agenda. Feels more like badge-swiping than collaboration.
@j9 That’s because it’s a stupid rule. Plenty of people want to be in the office while being productive, just as others are equally productive or in many cases more so without in office distractions. They have created this divide on purpose and want us to shame one another/tattle/complain to management. Not all that long ago (pre layoff era) we worked together without fear or envy or in the very least, much less of it.
@OP I noticed some people are never there but still have job. They scan and turn around. Rule is not for all.

Also are they still giving you guys comp’d cafeteria meals?
While company level requires 3 days in office, but some bosses are flexing their muscles and commanding 5 days in office. If someone gets less bonus or laid off due to less than 5days then take external legal advice

@a3 I'm sure he already knows the answer to that question. I'm sure he gets weekly reports by organization/groups.
Only some roles will get "exceptions" for RTO but in reality their jobs are very much in danger.
Simpson, the procurement hobbit, is requiring 5 day RTO (M-F) for procurement and supply chain. Fryer, the Operations Watermelon Head, is requiring the same.
