@OP I have mixed feelings about Ayman. There is always an underlying condensation with him and the way he interacts with employees when he has an audience. Today he repeatedly singled out people for behaviors he didn't like, but in a way that felt more like public correction than any kind of real engagement.
For example, when a group remained standing in the back of the room, he joked that they were only there to be closer to the air conditioning. It was clearly intended to call attention to the fact that they weren't taking their seats.
Similarly, the exchange with Todd Cione (the guy wearing a plaid jacket) ,.asking him live whether he got it or something to that effect , was not a genuine question, but a way of establishing authority over Todd in front of the audience. The interaction felt carefully calculated to reinforce his hierarchy and make it clear who is in charge .
The overall impression reminds me of someone who uses subtle public embarrassment as a leadership tool, not overly aggressive but highly polished. It had the feel of a corporate executive who has mastered the odd of putting people in their place while maintaining plausible deniability.
Also, when he asked the audience to respond and they were quiet, he said" good Lord" and went in to display mild disgust.
Not impressed. I'll guarantee that behind closed doors in meetings with his subordinates , he is a nasty fellow.
