The building over in Dubai was bombed in an Iranian attack according to MSN. I hope everyone is safe.
GT has 6 locations: PHK, EHQ, ITC, GC, ATC, PTC. Will they all remain after the reorg? For long time, recrutment has been limited to ITC… and probably one site per US, Europe, Asia will be enough.
We are wrapping a big initiative and will be soon in enhancement mode.
And I'm not in same location as my manager and noticed we hired someone from other team who is in same location as bulk of the team.
While I feel this new person has a lot to learn I feel it seems like a tactic to replace.
I know I still have dependency in this team, if I try to switch via internal mobility can my manager stop the move citing dependency???
Is all the layoff focused at Tampa and Texas?
How about other locations, Manila, India, Warsaw, Belfast, Dublin or UK or Costa Rica etc etc.
Schwab is getting ready to announce (either to PLs or company-wide) that they will no longer hire in these locations. If you have been checking the job postings lately you probably already noticed this.
After requiring many of us to return to the office for “collaboration” and “growth,” this decision creates a serious issue. Employees in these offices may have little to no path for advancement.
I spoke with a hiring manager about an open role. Even though I sit just a few seats away in the same office he would not have been allowed to hire me or anyone else in my office. He would have had to hire someone in another state.
So much for in office collaboration!
Even employees working remotely due to medical accommodations, if they report into one of these offices, would not be eligible for those roles.
One again, terrible decisions made by senior leadership making huge impacts on our livelihood.
Retired for awhile just wondering if that addrtrss is still an AT&T facility? It was pretty lousy but convenient to train station.

Everyone in CGL heard Adam accidentally say Fiserv is moving out of Coral Springs. He tried to back track and say no site decision has been made but you can't un-hear facts.
Have folks moved from New York or other high-cost locations to Tampa or Irving for Citi? Was there an implication of loyalty for having done so only to now be discarded like trash?
I'm seeing people report layoffs all over the place.
Share if you want!
G10
99K
Berkeley Heights
Which locations are being cut this round? Do share if you have info!
I thought the goal (at least in part) of RTO was to get folks together in HUB locations to collaborate and sing Kumbaya while holding hands. I see a lot of exceptions made for certain people. Many managers are reporting to non hub locations and it’s perfectly fine. Why the double standard?
Waiting for the start of RIF and have above questions
When does it begin?
Where geographical locations
Which departments or groups
What criteria qualifies
Who determines
How many total targets?
How it is implemented
Why now?
This is incredibly strange and makes you wonder who manages GT and how.
Cap Fin, speciality and a few location.
Also, I am assuming it varies by geography, is that included.
Thank you.
Can anyone tell why BKR annual meeting is always held in Italy Florence? Why not Houston?
My supervisor asked in our team chat if any of us were located within 50 miles of Orlando. Does that mean we’re either going to get let go or asked to go back in office?
What locations would you it be? Which functions?
If so what location/ department?
We are looking for a Dealer Remarketing Rep. Check out our job posting at https://location-services.com/careers/
As part of our multi-year strategy, we have made the decision to exit previous target locations over the next few years. Non-target markets include:
• Wilmington, Delaware
• St. Louis, Missouri
• New York, New York
• Salt Lake City, Utah
• Raleigh, North Carolina
• San Francisco, California (including Concord)
• Chicago, Illinois
If you are not in one of our target locations, please know that there are no immediate changes to your day-to-day responsibilities or where you work-business will continue as usual as we work through this multi-year journey.
Just doing a survey should i stay at the hudson location or look for another. u think we will be here awhile
I have always liked PNC and what it stood for. I just don’t understand what is going on. If this decision has anything to do with trying to bring business to downtown, unfortunately, it’s not going to work. There is not enough existing downtown. I’m referring to stores not restaurants. I remember the days of Kaufman’s, Hornes, Gimbles, Lazarus, Lord & Taylor and Saxs. In all of my years I never envisioned downtown Pittsburgh being in the condition that it currently is.
It is my belief that apartment living contributed largely to destroying downtown. It will never be the same. The deterioration of downtown Pittsburgh started way before Covid. Covid just made it worse. Once Kaufman is closed, that was it. I think we all need to face the fact that downtown is gone. Until city leaders realize they’re going in the wrong direction, as they continue to develop even more housing, downtown Pittsburgh will continue to decline. The only thing that will be left down there is the people who live there. It’s not a place where people want to come anymore. Sad days…
Just heard from a friend in fraud with a C05 position that they basically laid off everyone in Boise Idaho.
GameStop is closing hundreds of U.S. stores in early 2026 as part of a cost-cutting strategy to pivot from physical retail to digital and collectibles amid declining sales. CEO Ryan Cohen's $35 billion incentive fuels criticism, with employees facing abrupt layoffs. This reflects broader gaming industry shifts toward online dominance.

What's the latest on location strategy? They forced hundreds of people to uproot their lives and move to a hub in 2025. Has anyone heard of anyone being let go after they moved? I'm still seeing many people shown as being in non hub locations in workday. Are they scheduled to relocate this year or somehow they got an exception to stay where they are?
Working in the city can be very expensive. I’d rather drive. Anyone else going to the Long Island facility? How many work out of there? Is there room for one more?
columbus office, tick tock
... but, you better be within 20 miles of your designated work location! Location Proximity testing on the way (for YOUR safety of course). Stay a few days with mom out of state, but work as normal... yeah no.
Read about it.
I am seeing Principal Positions in Austin, TX. Is it still a mini hub?
Do we see any locations in Florida as hubs. I am in Orlando and looking around at other locations and trying to understand if I am in a hub here in Orlando
If I were to transfer from a higher cost location like NY to a lower one like Charlotte or Tampa , would my pay be lower for the exact same role? And has anyone ever transferred in the US and dealt with the HR paperwork? Seems like a headache
People needs to be ready to choose your parking spot and office next year.
Because of constantly changing priorities at Disco.
The more I hear who got riffed the more it seems some locations took a much bigger hit…like Tulsa. Feel sorry for those that work there as they must be wondering what’s next
I’d like to hear from current/former employees. I have an opportunity for a move to Beaumont but I’m not familiar with the site at all. Any information shared would be greatly appreciated.
