stock price dropped from 150 to 130 since Jan 31. Due to espp purchase date shift, we will lose 20 dollars per share if we sell espp right after we get it. Who made this bad decision for purchase shift?

This shift was requested by a lot of employees in AHM's as well as on this forum.
Given that historically share price mostly peaked on ESPP date, what's coming next?
If you keep, and it goes back up to 150, then you are ought to pay taxes from that 20.
Either way they got you....
