The chaos makes it hard to want to do your job.

I’m trying to be positive, but it makes it hard to do anything right now. Why would I try and “fill my funnel” if I could be doing it for someone else right now. This company seems to be ran by what seems is a startup, trying to figure things out rather than the supposed #1 telecom company in the USA. At least with Verizon they were open about what they were doing and ripped the bandaid quick. Over here it’s like a hush hush game. All I know is if certain members of my org are still here after all the cuts, and I’m talking about high ankles pants himself, which caused the chaos of our channel, then I know this is all bullsh-t.

NPC&E Relo Letters

Other posts have the rest of the info, but I want people to know that some locations that were supposed to get letters did not get letters Friday. Some people say its because the locations weren't ready for more people, so if someone thought you were getting a letter but did not... you are not now "safe". When the location you were supposed to go to gets some construction...be ready.

More layoffs, fewer jobs-how can workers cope?

Companies are frozen by tariff uncertainty and AI expectations, while workers are stuck in a job market with very little hiring or firing. New figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show the hiring rate has dropped to 3.2%, the lowest in more than a decade, apart from the pandemic period.

What’s happening?

Are the rumors true that all the integration work with LEX has stopped for now whilst we calculate if we can still pay debts and do business. And before any bot responds about listening to rumors, coz there is no leadership or clear communication this is what happens - rumors are all we have

I think I'm on my way out

Lately, all my main projects have been canceled or pushed aside. My boss has stopped checking in, and other people are being handed responsibilities that used to be mine. If you've been in the workforce for a while, you learn to recognize these signals. My gut is telling me that my job is at risk.

RIF’s/Layoffs starting today

“HAPPY” New Year… or not, we will see. With the holidays wrapping up, it seems inevitable that all of the layoffs and reductions will start ramping up now seeing that all of the decision makers are back at work after the holiday.

Any ideas what depts will be impacted first? All we know if from the info shared on the all employee call is that Freier’s group (consumer) is “up first…”

I wish the best outcome for everyone during this poor-feeling time of uncertainty.

Each day just adds to the confusion

I'm getting so tired of this. People are on edge because nobody knows what’s coming next, and that uncertainty is starting to show everywhere. Teams feel disconnected, communication keeps breaking down, and everyone’s spending more time speculating than actually getting work done. Is this our new normal?

Can this be confirmed?

Looks like 272 were escorted out in Sept. 2025. There are at least this amount again planned for 2026 according to news..
Looks like stock (BC) is growing slowly, but 2026 senior notes buyback not a good sign.

I'm asking specifically about the more layoffs early next year part.

I just watched two senior managers walk out the door

In the last couple of weeks, two senior managers on my floor have left voluntarily. Their departures weren't part of any announced layoff, and they both gave standard notice. The fact that senior-level people are choosing to leave so closely together has sent a wave of concern through our team. It makes you wonder what they might know about the company's future plans that hasn't been shared with the rest of us. Is this a sign of things to come?
