What is being asked of leaders?

Can someone please share the directives coming down right now? Every leader seems even more in a scramble this week than the last 8 combined.
Yes it’s clear layoffs happened this week, but it’s something more. I had vaguely overheard, I was trying not to be obvious, about a directive that was given from HR about a RTO mandate. As in some directive about a larger mandate to ensure employees are in hubs and not remote. What is going on? All of us see and sense something.

tic.....tic.....tic..........

Word is new seating assignments have been announced in Deerfield support office. But that the areas assignments for the most part aren't big enough to accommodate all the team members. Also, that the parking lot will be 325-350'ish spots short once OPO staff join in Deerfield in 10 days. Anyone hearing anything else? Feels too quiet this week.

I feel like I'm waiting for a slab of concrete to fall on my head

I'm in one of those bad stretches in life when problems just pile up - family issues, aging parents, health stuff. Everything's breaking down all at once, and the bills keep piling up. I'd probably handle the job uncertainty better if everything else wasn't falling apart. As it is, I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and make it complete.

January 20th

How many have spent the weekend checking email for a meeting maker. Side tracking life while foreign interests and foreign nationals pervert data to show a better story then may be the truth. Leaders get to take the money and run. You should too. The rainbow washing, green washing, virtue signaling it was never about culture or employees it was about revenue generation.

Layoffs: 1 at a time

Hearing of several one-off layoffs. One person in a department vanishes. ESC. Seems like a week ago was a layoff week. Labs are adding people, ESC is tossing people. Discouraging. Frustrating. What are other people hearing? I can count 5 in the past 3 weeks across plants and corporate.

When is the next layoff?

Now that things have settled down, we are fully focused on cutting costs. That’s all the LT cares about. With all the cost cutting there have got to be layoffs. The question is when? 2026? 2027? How long does it take for layoffs to come to us? Where are all the employees going with all the work being cut? Trying to see if I can last long enough to get laid off. Wishing I took the EOI but had no idea what we were in for.

US Possible Layoffs

US corporate employees received messaging to work remotely on Thursday January 15th 2026. Reasoning was to facilitate multiple meetings regarding department changes. Very similar tone to last year's email. Staff is worried.
