Rumors from credible sources shared the company plans to move the NJ Englewood Cliffs office to TX, home of its phone business. Anyone hear anything?

Samsung has been making cuts left and right. RTO is just another way to push people out, either make them quit on their own or create an excuse to let them go. Either way, it’s a win for them. A cheap, quiet way to reduce the workforce.

There’s been no official statement from the company yet, everything we know is just word of mouth. No one knows for certain how many people are affected or which departments are impacted.

Samsung has begun layoffs in the US today. Our team of longtime employees were all cut. I don't know how far ranging it is at the stage.

Has anyone heard anything about layoffs at SAS? Emails regarding a re-org to “flatten the org” without staff headcount impact are not the most comforting sign!

Apparently close to 300 employees were laid off today (7/26/24) in the Networks division of SEA primarily in their Plano campus. This includes both full time and contractors.
