I guess they 're hoping all of us will be willing to do jobs of three to four people to keep this place running. I really hope we prove them wrong.

comp discussions
has everyone had comp discussions already what is the deadline for managers to inform
Why wont they just tell us anything?
They never give us a heads up about stuff like layoffs. It just happens. How are we supposed to plan our lives? Keeping us clueless just makes everyone angry and scared.
Not related to layoffs

TAMPA LAYOFFS
AML Tampa, are we seeing layoffs?? Hearing mixed things.
Always 3/3 last 3 yrs
Last 3 yrs 3/3 , same bonus same increament 1.5%.doesnt even meet inflation. More commute , different managers to adopt, constant priority changes. I dont understand what else to do to lift to 2 rating.
Its embarrassing.
The constant re-org and shuffling around, several times a year for two years now. It’s a true reflection of the leadership direction that we have to work under.
Younger vs Older
So Citi wants to run off the older generation but the younger generation (mine) has no desire to work in a culture like this. The younger generation’s personal time off is not something they are willing to sacrifice for the good of Citi’s profits. ... — read more
Work toward the go F’ yourself goal.
No matter where you work, you should work toward accumulating a financial base to where you can tell anyone that they can go “F’ yourself”. This takes time, a lifetime in some cases but it can be done. Don’t spend your raises or bonus’s and... — read more
One one to sum up Citi
Michael Jackson- they don't really care about us This sums up citi and all the posts regarding this. Act accordingly, decline work without training, refuse to chime in for other people's role( you will be graded for their work while they skate... — read more
Anybody have the actual numbers left to layoff?
I remember when this first started ppl had very specific number counts. I guess we are at 9,000 left to lay off for 2026. Can anyone give an insight as to how many of those 9,000 left will come out of divestures and how many will come out of actual... — read more
It’s HR that needs to be let go.
If AI and automation can’t handle the HR load that Citi has, then forget about it being able to handle things of more complexity. Seriously, the HR paper shuffle is about as low hanging fruit as you can get when it comes to a comparison of job... — read more
was there any job cuts in Citi Wealth London last week?
Do you expect any private banker layoff in Feb/March 2026 in London?
Is Risk is safe now?
Didn't hear about any cut in Jan and also given that had huge cut in 2025
If you were RIF’d, what was your year end rating?
Based on Jane’s recent announcement that the bar will be raised and “we will not be graded on effort”, will Citi be taking a Goldman approaching and simply cutting the lowest performers? It’s hard to believe that memo can be released and still let... — read more

If RIF how long do you have to wait to accept another role there to avoid loosing the severance payout? RIF in Dec and some networking in other teams and want to bring me back ..
I agree with Jane, just change out the old guard and get rid of the ‘old ways’ of doing things.
I’m on board with that, bring in the new blood with innovation and forward thinking. Bring in the visionaries. This includes Jane. She’s old guard, right? The Citi vision needs to be more than ‘wait and see what the other banks are doing, then play... — read more
Feel insulted !
Have been working for Citi 25 years. Managed to be spared from all the lay off waves in the past, because I was always at the lower end of the pay-scale. 2025 was one of my most productive years with managing 3 projects on top of my BAU work by... — read more

Citi contributes to mental illness for employees
Citi should be the last company to discuss or bring awareness to mental illness. For the past 3 years employees have been on the edge seeing fellow coworkers especially within the United States get impacted and their jobs being outsourced overseas... — read more
Citigroup Announces Layoffs; AI Impact Debated
Citigroup announced over one thousand job cuts. Meta also cut 1,500 jobs in its virtual reality division. However, little evidence suggests AI is displacing workers en masse. A recent analysis found the proportion of AI-disruptible jobs remained... — read more
What do we know about the upcoming layoffs?
Where do we believe or know where majority of the layoffs are going to be? Do you think it’s all transformation or more than that?
Belfast is on the hit list, several times this year from what I understand.
There is no safe haven for anyone regardless of region. We will see.
ICRM AML Layoffs
I can confirm AML in ICRM is in scope of layoffs in Tampa.
Layoffs soon
Real soon
Let the layoffs set the pace.
It’ll be hard as pressure will be applied under the guise of “meet the goal or else” but just put in 8 hours per day…..ONLY. Let the days of 50-60 hours per week be a thing in the past. Those of you who did work like that last year, what did you... — read more

What to expect? Comp?

Any anyoffs in the enterprise data office?
If so, which team within the EDO?
